British cave divers, useful people and parasites

As a French and having recently learned that my government had, some years ago, called for help British cave divers for a rescue, I must say that:

1. We Frenchies don't deserve to be called froggies

What kind of frog wouldn't be able to dive and would need help from rosbifs (roast beef) to go underwater?

2. British people are undisputably better cavemen than the French

Obviously the French have left their caves for too long

Having said all this, hats off to John Volanthen, Robert Harper and Richard Stanton, for their remarkable success in Chiang Rai!

It could have been my 13 year old son there, and it feels good to know that there are people like them, ready to help in the most difficult situations.

More generally, our world is full of good and useful people: divers obviously, but also nurses, teachers, firemen, small farmers and so on, who dedicate their lives to the wellbeing of others, for little in return.

So, why is it that our world stinks so much?

Here is an analogy: given enough time, cream will rise on top of the milk, but something entirely different will rise to the surface of a septic tank...

Placed in the wrong hands, our world has become a stinky septic tank, literally as well as figuratively.

Why and how?

Here is another analogy: humans are not so different from ants.

They spend most of their life in lines, going back and forth to work, waiting for their food at lunch time, and at the supermarket cashier in the evening.

They dedicate the bulk of their time to often mindless tasks, in order to feed their queens/masters, be they CEOs, bankers or politicians.

Like ants, humans farm parasites, yet while ants farm to infest other species (such as my coffee trees...damn ants!), humans farm to infest...themselves!

They have created very efficient farms, named among others ENA (France), Eton (UK) or Yale (US), whose main purpose is to select who will be better at succeeding their predecessors, now busy ruling and ruining the world.

And for those who will not reach the top, humans have created giant casinos, called financial markets, where parasites gorge themselves while playing with little people's money!

Ant, sorry, ain't we a bit stupid? Shouldn't we put our destiny into our own hands and not into those of greedy and insatiable parasites?
