CHIANG RAI, Thailand (Reuters) - Rescuers resumed preparations on Tuesday for a third rescue operation deep into a cave complex in northern Thailand to free four remaining boys and their soccer coach in a race against time and monsoon weather.

(Reuters) - A U.S. federal judge on Monday rejected the Trump administration's request to allow long-term detention of illegal immigrant children, a setback for President Donald Trump's executive order to end the separation of immigrant families.

American tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has tweeted that he is already at the Tham Luang cave with a prototype of the mini submarine he is hoping can be used to recuse the boys and their coach who remain trapped inside the cave.

BANGKOK/CHIANG RAI, Thailand (Reuters) - All eight boys rescued so far after spending two weeks trapped in a Thai cave are in good health overall and the first four rescued boys are eating well, Thailand's health ministry permanent secretary said on Tuesday.

The eight members of the Mu Pa (wild boars) Academy football club rescued thus far from Tham Luang Cave were in good health mentally and physically, although all had high white blood cell counts and two initially showed indications of pneumonia.

Zhang Wenhao, the husband of the owner of ‘Phoenix’ – T.C. Blue Company – has revealed to Chinese media that his wife manages the company. He says he is one of the employees. All employees in the company, except captains and boat crews, are all Chinese.

CHIANG RAI, Thailand (Reuters) - The first eight boys rescued from a Thai cave complex are in good health overall and some asked for chocolate bread for breakfast, officials said on Tuesday as rescuers began a third and more challenging final mission to free the remaining five.
