If so, did you have any out of pocket costs other than for private room? Doctor recommended I get a knee replacement sooner rather than later {within 4-6 months} based on my symptoms. This is not unexpected- probably need one on my other knee too.My social security hospital is a private hospital so I expect they would try to charge me for some things.
