PSI 05 Hybrid Android TV Box - Watching in UK - how to?

Hi everyone,

 

I was recently on holiday in Thailand and I picked up one of those PSI 05 Hybrid TV boxes and brought it back to the UK. My kids being half Thai liked the idea of being able to watch Thai TV in the UK which is why I bought it, however upon connecting it all up it gives me a registration link which I click but then it says I need to call PSI (the cable company). I got my wife to call and they said that the box will only work in Thailand.

So I'm thinking if I can set up a VPN to make the box look like I'm in Thailand would that work? And if so can anyone give me some advice on how to do that? The image below is of my box which is showing a UK IP address, I think if I could just get that IP address to be a Thailand based one then it might work ?
