Non Immigrant B - How Long Does It Last?

Featured Replies

After obtaining my non immigrant B by returning to the UK and paying 200 to a legal company to sort the paper work and a furthur 90 GBP for the processing fee, it came to my attension that I should have to find a job within the 1 year. Does anyone know if this is true or not? Its cost me a total of approx. 1500 GBP to get the visa which includes the flight tickets back to UK and back to Thailand. If i had to go through something like that again it would financially cripple me!!

If it is a multiple entry Non-Imm B visa, it will have a 12 month validity period. You will need to be in employment, and have arranged an extension by the time the 12 months is up, otherwise the visa will expire. If you do have to reapply do it yourself and save the legal fees. Easy peasy in the UK.
