If they could power the real ones in a similar fashion, they could all be waving their arms around automatically while still asleep.

Apart from the devious ones I suppose, who might work out how to use it for an automated J. Arthur when the sun was strongest.

Give it a few weeks until the locals wise up and then start trashing it - What will be even better is when they think it is only a cardboard cutout and run down the real thing!
