Why Much Easier Visas For Thailand?

Why doesn't Thailand have a much easier Visa System with NO job restrictions, sure you might have to know Thai for certain professions like a Doctor and after a certain period of time you can become a citizen, for example 5 years. If you marry a Thai you should be allowed citizenship especially if you have kids. The 2 most advanced economies in the world, the USA and Europe have these opportunities. Come on Thailand look up to these two - this is 2018 and the world is connected from the farmer in Isarn to BKK many people have smart phones and internet connections now so know what is going on !! Am I right TV readers?

The issues mentioned have been discussed many times before but all they all end with no conclusive answers. They always end with mostly Thai bashing replies and bickering posts.

I see no reason to keep this topic open so it is now.
