The Met  were trying to be optimistin to justify the policing costs. Most probably much less than 120 k as I understood they used EU accountants to work out how many attended. Plus all those blue flags and hats, with stars on take up so much space. Significantly in March they will be out of date when we leave as will have too many gold stars on. A bit like last years football strip. So they can be used as wipes to wash away the tears of defeat.

I can't really see the appeal of loving a foreign powers flag over your own, but hey they do. I guess in a democracy we have to accept these little. foibles people have and just smile.

I did it check google, as you suggested, the bit I checked on the UKIP site said we were going to mint lots of celebration new coins to commemorate the great Brexit day where our country escapes the clutches of the EU. 

 

In fact I guess we can make millions of Brexit coins out of what we save, and they will go up in value as the EU implodes under the great mound of debt it has and the lack of effective accounting practices to see where the money we we give actually goes?

 

Just then maybee we can then reclaim what we spend on foreign aid at over 10 billion a year and spend it on our own poor, rather than propping up many third world dictators new private jets? Just a thought?

of course, that is a relevant qualifier, parliament may revoke/amend the law or replace it with new stipulations,

which may close or open the door for a host of scenarios,

assuming that the law stays as is
