  • The real test will be when the Dalai Lama shows up, and they try to force him to use the Chinese lane.

  • They should scrap immigration for Chinese altogether. Give them citizenship on arrival: the future colonial masters should be treated with a modicum of respect....

  • Thailand, Hub of misunderstandings!

what about everyone coming through the airport who does not feel appreciated because they dont have their own lane?

A few years ago Thailand favored Russians.  Now they have a fast track lane for Chinese?

They could funnel the Chinese straight to the boats if they don't want to queue on exit.    BJ's bouncers look better in black don't you think?

Or just put them in life jackets and eject them into the waters around Phuket, as they come in to land !!

Now they can understand who is who in the zoo. They always seem to have trouble identifying people at immigration. A good example is the thieving Monk leaving Thailand and the Red Bull Guy Those brown envelopes sure blinds a lot of immigration people.

Lived in Cyprus pre EU days and we were aliens with alien ID cards and queues for aliens.

ET and the like were quite put out.

the man on the right middle in black is a real nut buster

this guy goes to the front of the que line when the invaders arrive

Agreed! We, Hong Kong people, are holding HKSAR Passport which differs from the one issued by Mainland China. And we are permitted to stay in the Kongdom for 30 days without any visa. No clarification is needed, we do understand that that channel is for Mainland Chinese passport holders only! I don’t see why there is a confusion at all! And I also cannot see why it related to the winning of recognition to those who want Hong Kong independence!

My favourite Chinaman Harry Hoo.

Change the sign from "Chinese" to "PRC Chinese " Problem solved.
