Long term car rent - experience

Featured Replies

Hello there,

I search for offers for longterm car rental. Duration 6 month, starting in Oct. this year.

Looking for serios companies, car type should be SUV. Is there someone with actual experience?

Thank you in advance,

Gunter

I have a friend in Pattaya who rents a sedan for 6 months every year. I think he pays around 15,000B/month. We once discussed it and calculated that he saved quite a lot by doing this as opposed to buying one and leaving it unused for the half of the year when he isnt here, not to mention the possible inconvenience of having to tax/insure/service it if he is out of the country. He has certainly never had any problems, and a couple of times has had the car replaced the same day when it developed small faults.

I think the same about saving by rent a car opposed by buy one. Looking for a SUV and a serious company in Bangkok, at Airport or similar.
