I am shortly required to renew my driving (car) licence here in Pattaya.

What documentation is required to complete the renewal ?

All the information you need is in the "Applying for 1 & 5 year thai driving licences" pinned at the top of this forum

Just in case you can't find it, you will need:-

Residence letter from your embassy / immigration OR your work permit

2 photos (from the place near the land transport office to get the right size)

Passport and copies of the data page and your non-immigrant visa

medical cert

EXPIRED licence

completed application form

cash (550 IIRC)

You won't be asked to do any of the eyesight etc. checks again

NOTE If you've changed your passport since your last renewal, take a copy of the old PP as well so they can find your records easily.
