Waste water flowing in Mudong Canal

Local residents near Mudong Canal in Wichit, Phuket, are calling for officials to clean up their act after wastewater has been flound flowing in the canal and out to the sea. Dead animals have also found floating in the canal.

Asean journalists call for media to help lead battle against fake news

Representatives of the member countries of the Confederation of Asean Journalists link arms for a photo session to demonstrate their commitment to fight against fake news at a forum held in Bangkok on Tuesday.

 

Recognising fake news as a global challenge, media representatives of Asean countries agreed on Tuesday that the fight against falsehoods and disinformation must be a joint effort of all stake-holders in their societies.

Out-bound Vibhavadi Rangsit to close on night of Aug 25

The out-bound lanes of the Vibhavadi Rangsit Highway will be closed at kilometre marker 24+279 from 10 pm on Aug 25 to 4 am on Aug 26 for the installation of five steel girders on the bridge under construction across the highway into the Don Mueang international airport, the Highways Department announced.
