Fun-O missing cookies

Featured Replies

I wonder if I stand alone in this glorious country with the overwhelming anxiety that something terrible has happened to the contents of my Fun-O cookie packets.

Allow me to tell you more......

In recent months, to be honest (yes I know, a scarce comodity....) I think since the start of this year, I have noticed what I would refer to as cookie creep. To be specific negative cookie creep in the contents of the 10 baht Fun-O cookie packs. I remember the packs being full of cookies, tightly packed from end to end - an almost endless munchfest. My first experience of a pack that had the feel of not being proper full was sitting outside a & Eleven on the side of AH1 headed north on a glorious morning ride. I just thought I got a duff pack with one missing - hey ho. My interest was enhanced when, a few days later,  reaching into the Fun-O display in a Big C and to my horror all the packs were ..........well they were loose. Today I took full advantage of the Family Mart 'two packs for 16 baht' at Soi 11 Jomtien beach road.I settled down with a toasted sandwich, coffee and the highlight of my day - two packs of Fun-O (I didn't eat both packs OK). I was devastated, these packs still have missing cookies.

I have done my best to ignore this nagging issue and my anxiety that 'negative cookie creep' has come to this Royal Kingdom. But every pack of Fun-O I check out in Big C, Family Mart and 7 Eleven  have loose contents that allow them to fall over in the pack.

  • Am I being nostalgic when remembering packs of Fun-O being tightly packed - liked a pretty little thing in latex panties eagerly awaiting someone to help them break free?
  • What has happened to the missing cookies?
  • Why didnt they reduce the outer packaging to save plastic - the missing cookies would surely like a little plastic cover where ever they may be
  • What does this mean for society as whole?

I only mention because a few years back the packs of chewing gum dropped from having 9 pieces to 8 pieces - A whole other scandal that has yet to breach the media blockade.

Do I really stand alone with my concerns?

Maybe they are just making the packets bigger?

Doubt many people on this forum eat them anyway. Not good for diabetes.
