KATHMANDU, 31st August 2018 (NNT) – The Prime Minister is attending the fourth Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) summit in Nepal, presenting Thailand’s view that the cooperation should set priorities so that it may strive towards stability, prosperity and sustainability.

Upon arriving at Tribhuvan Airport in Kathmandu of Nepal, Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha was welcomed by Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel, his wife and the country’s honor guard before joining other national leaders of BIMSTEC in a meeting with Nepal's President Bidhya Devi Bhandari at the presidential palace Sheetal Niwas. The fourth BIMSTEC Summit took place at Soaltee Crowne Plaza.

In a speech to the summit, Gen Prayut pointed out that the cooperation has drawn global interest and that Thailand, as a founder and active member of BIMSTEC for the past 21 years, is resolute in driving connectivity between Southeast Asia and South Asia. He remarked that the success of BIMSTEC is dependent on mutual trust, respect and benefit as well as the intention to see peace, prosperity and sustainability in the region.

The Thai PM pointed out Thailand is ready to push BIMSTEC forward by applying its experiences in carrying out the Thailand 4.0 agenda, explaining it can be translated into an economic model for escaping the middle income malaise as well as for combating social inequality. He also pointed to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy as a way to immunize BIMSTEC countries from external fluctuations and to create economic strength.

Before completing his appointments at the summit, Gen Prayut is to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nepalese Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli to discuss three Memorandums of Understanding.

Looks a very nice junta junket even though he looks to be having some form of imminent combustion problem?

Yes it does look in the picture as if he is suffering from a bit of wind problem, more so than normal on his Friday night sermons that is!

What a joke. Tell the meaning of social equality to Prawit and on that note him and the rest of the junta who just passed the largest budget all in their favor for ?????

They think the world is stupid like they are. They have destroyed the country literally

The man touts frivolity.    Government does not know how to network its databases, reliant on Alibaba to help with e-commerse,  government buys weapons that cannot interact with each other.  The junta is perpetuating social inequality, fanning the flames if discontent, and boring the country to death.   To this day many new wireless technologies are banned in Thailand.  Hardly a country that should give guidance.

Look there websites don't even work and it's very funny stuff. Primitives

What's a BIMSTEC ?

Another excuse to party in a big hotel while bullshitting other bullshitters between lavish tea breaks and the open bar.

Another global platform to allow little people to believe they are big people.

Self deception is an art form for Thai military leaders.
