Dear all,

Thanks as always for great information.

I have a question, as I couldn't find the info even from this great website. I have German passport, and I am thinking about doing 'visa run' for the first time in my life.

I know I can do the land crossing twice/year (This would be my first land crossing as well)...and I understand that I can pay and do the paperwork to extend my visa exempt stamp for 30 more days.

My question here is: if I do a visa run (probably using some agency), thus received the same day entry stamp from one of those land borders, would I be able to extend another 30 days for the stamp that I received from my visa run at an immigration office? (with fees and paperworks, of course)

As I mentioned, this would be my first time doing the visa run, and first time receiving the visa extension as well. (Also, at this moment, I am thinking about crossing the border between Myanmar and Ranong, Thailand)

Your comments would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

You can apply for the 30 day extension of any 30 day visa exempt entry. It does not matter if it was done overland or by air.

Thank you so much, as always.

I've been reading this website for years, and it is such a great honour for me to receive a great comment from you!

Thank you again, Mr. Ubonjoe!
