Under Pressure, FCCT Cancels Discussion Of War Crimes In Myanmar

Monday night at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Thailand.

 

BANGKOK — A discussion of whether key figures in Myanmar’s military should be prosecuted for genocide of the Rohingya was canceled at the last minute Monday evening under pressure from Thai authorities.

 

Coming two weeks after the UN’s top human rights body concluded tatmadaw generals should be prosecuted for genocide, the police came to the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand and told them to not hold the event.

Suprised?

As this has been the "official" Thai policy, regarding Myanmar, forever. 

 

One might be taken aback as to the maintained admiration and support from Thai influential types toward the decades long Myanmar military repression.

Has Aung Sung given her peace price money back yet?

Aung Sung is as dirty as the rest of them in Myanmar.She could have been a very large support for all the people of Myanmar but the world now sees that her idea is not to disprove of the genocidal  acts of the rest of the Myanmar government.These traits of her were hidden from most of the rest of the world and was first rumored to be  reported in the 1985-86 by UK intelligence during a profile report while she was in London.
