You stated that your wife was "the pretty one"

The suggestion was that "the pretty one" was the one with the afro .

If theres any racism in that . then its positive racism (suggesting Black girls are prettier than White girls)

Yeah. I'm a fan of afros. Fluffy.

You have not been reading this thread.  Post after post insulting Serena.  Posts insulting blacks.  This has been like a racist Rose bowl parade.

No there hasnt , there have no posts of people insulting Blacks .

There may have been some unpleasant remarks about Serena , but that was because of her behavior, rather than her colour .

I'm sure you are.  You know it is difficult talking to you guys.  In America the Klan or the White precisest do the wink wink nod you know they are racists but you guys think you are not.  Which makes it difficult to have a rational conversation.  When a Klan member talks about eliminating quotas or affirmative action you know and they know they are racists.  But you fellows don't think you are.  You are trying to changes the racist acceptable standards of behavior.

Although her legs are large , it does seem to be mostly muscle and not fat

Not surprising since she's a top athlete. Not attractive to the average male, same as female bodybuilders and so on. Skin color doesn't matter when it's the bulk under the skin.

"He drew her as an ugly black woman having a tantrum. That is exactly what she was "

I said post after post insulting Serena as above.  Most have been removed by moderation but I'm sure many remain.

"Ugly" can also mean acting in an "ugly" way , which she was doing .

Besides , it wouldnt be racist to consider a person to be ugly .

I do think that Yoko Ono was quite ugly , thats not being racist though, its just my personal opinion

You dont seem to know what "racism" is

The cartoon is racist.  Knight's Serena cartoon, in its use of racist caricature, is very much in this tradition of condemning black citizenship in cartooning. Not only does it incorporate the most base representations of black women, it also replicates imperialist visual themes like a black grotesque and a victimized white woman. His choice to render fellow champion Naomi Osaka (whose heritage is Japanese and Haitian) as a small, blonde white woman.

It could but in this case it does not.  Knight’s illustration seems to equate Williams with figures like Saartjie Baartman, also known as the Hottentot Venus, an African woman who was paraded before European audiences as nothing more than a freak-show attraction. “No matter how insanely successful black women like Serena become, the legacy of the Hottentot Venus will always be ready to rear its ugly head at an opportune moment,” https://www.vox.com/2018/9/10/17841366/serena-williams-editorial-cartoon-racist

Dr Jason Johnson, who is also a professor of politics and journalism at Morgan State University, suggested the Herald Sun’s Mark Knight was aware he’d drawn Williams as a “brooding, big-lipped, almost ape-like” figure and that it was unnecessary in his endeavour to highlight her bad behaviour at the US Open.

Both the girls skin colour is pretty much the same , Naomi also had a blond pony tail in real life .

Although she does look skinier, thats what caricatures do

The racist Serena cartoon is straight out of 1910.  CNN https://edition.cnn.com/2018/09/11/opinions/racist-serena-cartoon-mark-knight-rebecca-wanzo/index.html

The question has been asked and answered 100 times all linked to professional media outlets and reputable authorities.  Why are you still asking the same question?  The cartoon is racist.  The only people who have published that it is not is the Aussie newspaper where it was exhibited.  Try a better source.

The two black ladies in the post above?

Accurate depictions of the ladies as they appeared at the time (probably more than 100 years ago).

In their culture, having the biggest backside is a matter of pride, similar to large breasts in the US today.

If the artist had reduced the size of their backsides to make them look more Western and sate your Western prejudice against mammoth butts, I'm sure the ladies would have been most upset and called the artist a "Colonial white honky racist", and they would have been right.

You really need to get over yourself and start to see things from black people's POV.

The pictures of the black ladies that were removed were insulting to blacks.  That is two insulting posts.

"A shovel is a shovel and a spade is a spade :cheesy:"  That makes three insulting posts to blacks and I'm only 25% through looking.  Time to admit you are wrong.

It is Steatopygia.  Go read about it.  Whitchetty's tribe is insulting.

A shovel is a shovel and a spade is a spade :cheesy:  Is insulting

That's three.  You said none and the mods have removed most of them because they were insulting to blacks.

How do blacks feel about it?  Ask Rev Jesse Jackson and Bernice King, the daughter of Martin Luther King Jnr, as well as the National Association of Black Journalists.

A shovel is a shovel and a spade is a spade, has zero to do with black people or racism.

It's an old English saying pointing out that some people can't tell the difference between a shovel and a spade.

It's very applicable to you and your inability to distinguish between a racist and a non racist cartoon.

The pictures were removed because they were off topic according to the mod. Unless you know something different.

So that makes none out of the first 25%, it's not a good start, keep trying.

Spade is a racist word for black person.

A derogatory term for an African American

The pictures were removed because they were racist and insulting to black women.  Not because they were off topic.
