Casino products in Big C are sold at an average 300% of the price in France. Some of them at 1000%

That's absolutely not true... Most have quite similar price given that the vat here is 7% vs 20 in France.

I really hope they keep selling the casino product, the quality is so much better than products at Tesco (for my taste) or imported cheese from Australia for example...

I think this will be a plus as Big C standards have dropped since Chinese  imports have overtaken those from France and Australia

Not being a Brit: What's special about Morrisons' products that another brand does not provide?

Nothing and I never liked any of there attempts at a lot of own brand stuff. Do not expect this to last long. Just opens the door for replication.

Maybe we will get "sugar free" squash and juice.

Uttaradit does not have a Big C yet but one has been proposed , how much extra are people going to have to pay for all of these imported goods an example i usually the Australian cereal Weet-Bix which was 98baht per box of 24 rom Tesco Lotus but it is now 108baht so i wont be buying them any more it seems that Tesco is raising the prices of most things making it very expensive to shop there these days especially with the exchange rate the way it is on the Aussie dollar .

Worried about 10baht extra on weet-bix.....try corn flakes.

You mean packs of cards, roulette wheels, chips, croupieres, dice, .....I thought gambling was illegal in Thailand.

Wow- do you want us to take up a collection for you to cover the extra .4166 baht per bix? Times must be hard.

I don't believe that. The casino brand is decent and not a bad price on the pork items. The jamon at 200 baht is a decent price anywhere and the sausiccon at 159 is not bad either.

Thai's WON'T Drink it WITHOUT Sugar in it !!!

Well let's see who is talking rubbish.

I'm not your lackey, but I looked up just 1 product that is available at big C extra for about 300 Baht. And in Casino Paris at 40 Baht.

You're right, the 300% was rubbish,  I should have said 800%

Hahahahahaaha.

You must be a joker

It won't make money, they won't get paid on time if at all, and if anything is a good seller the Thais will copy it faster than .... off a shovel.

I like it when when BigC stores outside big cities stock imported products of little interest to Thais. Down to my second to last box from ten boxes of Twinings tea bag 25s, reduced to clear at 60 baht. Meanwhile Tops continue to sell at 230 baht a box ?

Your talking bangerz. How can the pork be subject to 300% tax. That jamon sausage 200 baht Job, cost is really good. Salty but tasty but I have resisted twice now.

Can you name me any store anywhere in the world where prices don't increase? If you worry about an increase of less than 50 satang a biscuit then I think you have a problem.

What i hope is that they will bring more lines than Tesco do.  How about some decent Spread Cheese, Pate, Pork Pies, Cornish Pasties and a lot more English Biscuit lines than Tesco do ?    It will be good if they have studied what's already available here and add to it, not copy it.

Really? It's that difficult to work out what you are buying if it's in a different language? The plight of expats eh

I love Morrisons meat and tater pies (potato and meat if we're being PC). They do small oblong crumpets if memory serves me correct. Handy for dipping in boiled eggs.

Does anyone have the list of 100 products?

Another, nail on the coffin for the Tesco-Lotus 'deal'.

Tesco lotus imported food choice is as ridiculous as their dirty shops and 100 years old cashier machines. They should all close.

Totally wrong.

Dare to compare with a French website product by product ?

Then you you will have confirmation about how wrong you are.

Show us the bigC link or photo ?

It is clearly impossible that this cheese os sold more than 200 thb in Thailand.

Your fake evidence is so funny !

You are lucky, it's not online, but next time I will visit bigC I will show you evidences that you are so wrong.

Until then you can have fun with more casino products to compare:

https://www.bigc.co.th/bigc-brand/casino-brand.html

I like big C I like the redemption deals.  We got a 4000 baht, nice cooking pot for 99 baht after collecting 140 stickers last week.
