So send via Bangkok Bank but request a GBP transfer via Swift?

You cannot send as Baht, it's not allowed so the bank will automatically exchange it into the currency matching the destination. Just tell the bank you want to send your funds to the UK and provide the bank details, they'll know to transfer via SWIFT, there's no alternative for them to use apart from a carrier pigeon.

It takes anywhere from a few hours to a few days and the cost is minimal, others can probably post more recent costs/charges than me.
