I am buying an old Camry off a Thai friend of mine based in Bangkok. He's had many years of reliable service from it and he's maintained it almost regardless of cost. He selling to me for peanuts and its a very clean car with a few years of life left in it.

Can anyone personally recommend an independent repairer (i.e. not Toyota franchised dealer) in Pattaya/Jomtien who could continue maintenance of this car for me?

Also does Pattaya have any good 'motor factors' ? - i.e. what we British call an independent parts shop selling aftermarket parts such as brake pads, filters, shocks etc.  Thinking of the places that sell to repairers rather than big flashy retail outlets like Cockpit.
