hi all i got a mate coming over next APRIL , any ideas where to look first, every time i key in a flight it shows the reverse Thailand to the UK , any recommends. thanks.

It's an "all London to all Bangkok" airports arbitrary date search (9 to 23 April).

To my opinion only Heathrow (LHR) and Suvarnabhumi (BKK) are advisable.

 

One stop connections are endless.

Nonstop only Thai Airways, Eva Air and BA.

If price is not the major factor I would stick to nonstop, but tastes differ.

 

Flight from Manchester might be cheaper (Qatar Airways).

 

Booking now is too early for best prices.

On the left you see the misc filter options to tick/untick.

I doubt your mate wants to do a 2-stop flight -> untick.

 

I am surprised to see that even one stop flights from City airport are offered on a somewhat sustainable price.

Qatar and Emirates have connections from Gatwick!

Emirates even from Stansted!

I think Eurowings does a Stansted departure although i wouldn't fancy it myself. By the time you add baggage and meals you might as well have just booked a Emirates/Qatar/Etihad etc out of LHR or LGW. KLM Air France out of London City could also work as a cheap ticket if thats convenient.
