MaAnn admits Surin wastewater failure, but now has resolution

PHUKET: The Chief of the Cherng Talay Tambon Administration Organisation (OrBorTor), MaAnn Samran, yesterday (Oct 5) admitted to the new Phuket Governor his failure in attempting to resolve the wastewater issue at Surin Beach.

 

However, Mr MaAnn also said that he has a resolution to the problem and that it will be resolved in two months.

Mr MaAnn was speaking at the new Phuket Governor Phakaphong Tavipatana’s first Governor Meets Press function held at Phuket Provincial Hall.

Hmmm, 300 million baht budget and system hasn't been used.  Must be quite a bit of pork off a 300 million baht budget.

A long long history as a bullshitter. How he continues to hold the OrBorTor position is simply unbelievable. How about an audit of all the monies that have been through this guy's paws over the last 10 years? It's a tragedy this guy has been running the Surin/Bang Tow Beach show for so long.

 

The reason there is no sewer treatment is that it was designed that way. There is no money in sewer treatment.

 

All construction in the area should be shut down until a sewer treatment plant that works is in place. Otherwise, the situation only gets worse, no?

 

The Andaman Sea is Phuket's sewer treatment. 

 

Phuket is an ongoing environmental disaster.

Well said. Also the guy said he was not running for public office again some long time ago.

Has spent all the brown envelopes already, now has solution to get more money from Government Mia noi getting expensive habits. bullshitting at it's best

"In total, we received B355.52mn. The construction took five years, from 2012 to 2017."

 

Approximately 55.52m according to MaAnn himself.

I sense an inactive post coming.

So why have they not gone back to the company that were paid to install it and tell them to get it up and running.......or was it not part of the original contract to install a functioning facility.

Doubt it, he has been doing this for years and years, and somehow always seems to get away with it.

Buckets will be issued to each residence with a full instruction sheet on how to use it and where to dispose of the contents!!!
