snoop1130 Posted October 16, 2018 Share Posted October 16, 2018 New agricultural extension chief appointed in seven-official reshuffle By The Nation File photo: Agriculture Minister Krissada Boonraj The Cabinet has approved the promotion of the deputy director-general of the Agricultural Extension Department, Samrarn Saraban, to the position of director-general, Agriculture Minister Krissada Boonraj said on Tuesday. Samrarn is among seven senior officials of the Agriculture Ministry whose reshuffle has been approved by the Cabinet, he added. Among the other six are Khemkaeng Yutithamdamrong, deputy director-general of the Land Development Department, who becomes an inspector-general of the ministry; Prasong Prapaitrakul, deputy chief of the Agricultural Extension Department, who also becomes an inspector-general; and Weerachart Khuanrat, deputy director-general of the Livestock Development Department, who has also been made an inspector-general. The other three are Krissanapong Sripongphankul, deputy director-general of the Rice Department, who becomes director-general of the department; Siriporn Boonchu, deputy director-general of the Agricultural Department, who becomes director-general of the Sericulture Department; and National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards deputy secretary-general Phisarn Pongpanit, who has been made an inspector-general.
