Fours suspects questioned over German tourist attack not attackers, says victim

PHUKET: Chalong Police have confirmed that no action was taken against fours suspects who were ‘unofficially’ questioned over the attack of a German tourists in Rawai on Sept 27 as the victim confirmed they were not the attackers after seeing photos of them.

 

Meanwhile, police have also confirmed that no arrest warrants have been issued for any of the attackers despite telling The Phuket News on Monday Oct 8 they expected them to be issued during that week.

 

In Oct 8, Chalong Police confirmed that a case related to an assault on a German tourist last month was being investigated and that arrest warrants should be issued that week.

Sorry but the longer I stay in Thailand, the more I think the word 'should' has no translation or meaning here.

The suspects were initially found using cctv footage and arrest warrants were to be issued. Now they are saying it wasn't them, the images were blurred, and they may not find who did it.

After looking at photos of those suspects, the victim has stated that they were not his attackers even though it's stated his memory is not clear on the incident.

I could make some guesses, but I don't really know what's happening,  somehow I doubt anyone else will be found.
