After Work Permit.?..30 Day On Arrival Possible?

Hello

my job is finished, work permit and visa expired end of January 2007 after 3 years…now working in another country. Can I get back into Thailand on a 30 day visa on arrival at airport in March for a short visit, or do I have to apply for a tourist visa before going, since I will have been out of Thailand for around 6 weeks…..is this situation completely different from the “consecutive 30 day-return to own country scenario”....

You should not have any problem as the 90 day should not apply to you (only entry without visa counts and this will be your first). But I would always recommend having a visa if you can obtain easily as both immigration and airlines prefer to see them.
