If you overstay and get busted, and deported

Recommended Posts

Deportation procedure: You are arrested by Immigration officials and taken directly to IDC where your passport is stamped with a "Deported" stamp and you are given the option of 2 airlines that will return you to your passport issuing country, you are then given the fare for each of the 2 airlines for which you are to chose 1 of them then you will be asked if you have the money for the fare and if your answer is "No" then you will be held in detention until someone pays your air fare, if the answer is "Yes" then immigration will book you on the flight that you have chosen. You will be escorted by immigration officers to your aircraft where your passport will be handed to the captain of the aircraft and you will be escorted to your seat, the immigration officer will then remain at the door of the aircraft until it is closed to ensure that you do not leave the aircraft. On your arrival at your home country, your immigration officers will meet the aircraft and your passport will be given to them and you will then be escorted to the immigration booth where you will then be given your passport back and you will then be out of the secured airside. You will then have problems obtaining another visa for another country as they will see the "Deported" stamp in your visa and they can reject any application that you make.

"I'm not on overstay right now, I'm just considering my options." - Have you considered the other option how comfy you will feel if immigration catches you and hauls you off to spend some beautiful nights at the immigration detention centre in a nice comfy cell? Don't drop the soap in the shower lol

Paradoxal

Often the -return ticket- will be even cheaper than the -one way ticket- flight, especially with airlines like Air France, Thai Airways, & some other airlines... especially to EU countries.

So is possible to tell can I get return ticket as it's cheaper than the one way flight, but I'll not use the return coupon ?

I guess right they will not give this choice..

Not possible. One way only.

If you want to save money they might allow a sum of 200 baht a day to add up until it reaches the figure for a single ticket home but not sure if that option still applies. ????????
