They have to make a clear line, and at the moment it is 800K for retirement and 400K for marriage extensions.  And let's hope this still stays for some times (even I also think they will increase it in the future).

It would be extremely odd if the current amounts were not grandfathered.

As they were when it went from 200,000 to 500,000 and then to 800,000
