The BBC and the UK papers are saying, "It is not known if Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was in the helicopter at the time".

Considering this happened hours ago and it was his helicopter leaving after his team's match and he hasn't popped up anywhere else, I think it is a pound to a penny, he was on board. Since the whole thing was a fireball, it's odds on he is brown bread.

Crash occurred around 8:30 pm (Sat) UK time, 2:30 am (Sun) Thai time.

According to Ben Thompsons Twitter feed, the owner was on board
