Are there any mandolin players here? I'm trying to teach myself to play and could use some advice.

I had a Mandolin round back type when I was 6 year old, my Dad use to tune it for me, I use to use a plectrum to play it. 

To fine someone here who plays one would be difficult l guess.

Yeah, I knew the odds of finding a mando player here would be slim, but thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
