The 4th waiver

Featured Replies

Hello.

I'm on my 3rd waiver with my 3rd school now, after I used up

my 1st waiver with my 1st school in 1 year and my 2nd waiver

with my 2nd school in 1 year respectively.

My contract with my current school is going to expire very soon.

I heard that you can get a waiver up to 3 times and up to 6 years.

It's just less than 4 years since I got my 1st waiver.

Would you think it possible for me to get a 4th waiver with the

same school or not?

Thank you in advance.

I know a couple of people in your situation and the only way they got a 4th waiver was to sign up for a Grad. Diploma in Teaching or a PGCEi.

Time to move on to private schools.  Smaller classes and considering they are businesses, business attire is the norm of the day.

Private schools don't matter? Any K12 teacher needs a license.

My advice is you can change jobs but when you apply, you should have a letter stating you are enrolled in PGCE or similar.

I think you'll be fine with that

Hello,

I've just had my 4th waiver granted by TCT.

I didn't submit to them any document like a letter

stating that I'm enrolled in a course or anything.

My school didn't even suggest that I do, either.

Thank you for all your comments.
