On 10 April 19 my retirement visa will expire.     I like to go to Immigration to renew it about a month early so probably go around 10 March.    The previous 20 years or so I used the embassy letter but this time I am going to go with the B800,000 deposit.     My question is how far in advance should the 800,000 be on deposit?   I have heard both 60 or 90 days.

It's 3 months.

 

(4) On the filing date, the applicant must have account  deposited  (saving / fixed account) in a bank in Thailand of no less than
Baht 800,000 for the past three months. For the first year only, the applicant must have proof of a
deposit account in which said amount of funds has been maintained for no less than 60 days prior to
the filing date;

It’s 3 months (not 90 days).
