Multiple Entry Visa O

Featured Replies

I have a 1 year multiple entry visa O. When the new regulations start in July will holders of these visas have to show proof of funds in the bank or income from abroad each time they leave the country????

Am 100% sure you will not have to show any leaving Thailand and 99% sure you will not have to show on return. If I were doing these trips I would keep a bank book or atm receipts with me on the trips 'just in case' but don't believe you will have any problems.

Whether Consulates will renew 'em year after year is another thing again.

Thanks guys. I don't understand why more people don't utalize this visa if they are married to Thai. I lot less hassle and no need to show any money.

Read and heed dr pats post above. This type of visa is not in current favor and seems to be getting harder to obtain in local area Consulates. It also gets to be kind of a pain making a border run every 90 days. From some reports it seems proof of bank funds is now being asked for in a few cases. I would expect that to increase in the future.
