Court goes digital with 'e-Notice System'

By The Nation

The Court of Justice has gone digital with its "e-Notice System" that will announce court appointments, schedules and important notices online.

Suriyan Hongwilai, the spokesman for the Court of Justice, said on Saturday that the new e-notice system has been in use since the beginning of this month.

Instead of mailing letters or making announcements in newspapers, the court will use its central website https://enotice.coj.go.th, Suriyan said.

He said the website will be used to announce schedules for deliberations of public requests, such as lawsuits and requests to adopt children.

The spokesman said the system will have search functions and each announcement will have the case serial number, the court's name, and names of the plaintiffs and defendants.

The public can also request the court's permission to make an announcement on the website.

The spokesman said the system is secure and each notice will carry a time stamp as evidence of the time of the announcement.

He said the cases will be deleted from the system six moths after the final ruling has been made.

Must be 4.0?  They just got a website ????

It must be similar to the E-Ignore System where traffic and speeding tickets are send to Thai traffic violators and the citations are automatically funneled to the violator's Spam folder and then permanently deleted.

If one has ever attempted to conduct business with a Thai entity [govt/corp/commercial/personal] in electronic form on any consistence basis, you would certainly know how this will pan out......
