Thai Teaching Licence Waiting Period

Featured Replies

How long does it take for T.C.T to issue a licence after one submits the application?

The license is about a month, if i recall correctly.

A waiver of the license can be done next day.

If I recall correctly, I applied in late January/early February, it was issued on 14 March and I actually received it in the mail in early May.

It takes two months from the day you make an application for the 5 year teaching license, but they issue a paper which can be used during those two months stating your teaching license is on the way.

My wait was about nine weeks from the day I submitted in person to the day I had license in hand. I rec'd no interim paperwork other than a receipt but there were months and months before the new school year.

Can you post that interim paper?? I'm very interested in this sort of interim license you mention. Surprised.

They still need to review the paperwork, nothing is certain. If for no other reason you screwed up the paperwork somehow which given the vague instructions is not difficult to do.

A proper Masters even if it's blended learning should be good enough to satisfy. I'm hearing shophouse pgce diplomas given more of a jaundiced eye these days.
