Not sure if this is the right place for this but life is getting fairly predictable now and I need to shake it up a little.

 

Sky diving has always been a fear but also a goal.

 

Are there any places in Thailand where this is done Safely according to international standards and if so, has anyone done it before? prices, etc ?

I'm sure you're going to get a handful of 'no way, never in Thailand' type comments and to be honest my primary concern would be that of safety and oversight. 

 

I suspect the best option would be to contact a few of the sky-diving clubs (google is your friend).

 

I'm sure the standards are high, especially with expat instructors (if they have them), best to contact them and get a feel for the company based on their response. 

 

I imagine the safety standards are worlds away from the beach-paragliding cowboys otherwise we'd hear a lot more of issues in the news.
