Thailand health officials continue to work to contain a measles outbreak in the southern provinces, in which some 1,500 cases have been reported, including 12 deaths.

The morbidity rate in Yala province is 132.61 / 100,000 population, by far the highest in the country.

The majority of patients are babies and children who have not been vaccinated.

Is this the result of parental negligence,  being of a certain religious persuasion? Have they bought the load of stupidity put forth by the Taliban about vaccine being some impotence causing CIA plot?

Why not?
I clicked the link to find out, and I should have known better... news articles in Thailand raise more questions than that they give answers.

This strain of Measles seems to be very deadly, and if parents still are not getting

their children vaccinated, well what can we do? Watch more poor children and babies

die because of their parents ignorance..

Geezer

Gods Will as they say in that part of the country.
