Being a state resident does not define rules in any state for submitting absentee ballots to county election offices. Being a county resident does matter as each county has its own rules.

 

Generally, Florida absentee ballots for Broward County must be back at the county elections headquarters by 7 p.m. on election day; postmarks don’t count. In Palm Beach County satellite offices will accept mail ballots until 5 p.m. on election day.

Overseas ballots for Broward County will be counted if they get back to the elections office up to seven days after the election.

For the first time Broward County sent out absentee ballots to requesters by email. But the completed ballot must be mailed back or faxed. However, the fax must be received during election office normal working hours (M-F 8am-7pm EST) when apparently the fax machine is turned on.

Absentee ballots, including many from military service members, are still arriving.  Do you and Trump want to disenfranchise the US military?

Yes, exactly, and as being a BIG LOSER is the worse thing in the world for him, now that he's getting cornered, expect him to become much much darker and dangerous going forward. Already evidenced by his SICK behavior immediately after the midterm results. 

 

Here comes 2020. I truly hope Agent Orange doesn't make it that far but he probably will. If you think he's a menace to democracy now, just wait ...

Yes, Usofa & its politics increasingly looks like the Great Britain of the C18th and C19th, as corruption & noblesse-not-oblige gradually came to terms with the reality of a growing middle class and a huge number of restless disenfranchised poverty-stricken peasants & workers.

This has been going on for centuries in former slave states. They won't be content with unless they can bring back the "good old days" when they could intimidate, lynch, segregate, impose poll tax, and imprison people for free labor who don't look like their uncles. This is their legacy and they're still fighting to restore that legacy.
