Would You Sit In The Back Seat

"Eleven chauffeurs of government and opposition MPs were rounded up at parliament on gambling charges while their bosses were attending censure debate in the House chamber yesterday."

Would you let these guys drive you home after they've just been busted? Amusing one :o

A Canadian MP's chauffeur once smashed into my car on Christams eve some years ago. He fled the scene, government plated car, I spun around and chased him for 2 km's, he finally came to a stop on a sidestreet. I pretended I was still still talking with my mom his cell phone while she'd already hung up and called the cops. Was his 2nd offence, he got a fine....

I was once witness to a shooting involving drivers.

They had been gambling and one of them had reported this to the police (his intention to get out of a debt)

A day later the brother of one of the arrested drivers came around and shot the guy who made the report to the police.

I was getting oout of my car at the time and the shooting occured about five meters infront of me... quite frightening.

Lets face it, just about everyone in Thailand plays cards.

It is ridiculous to say it is illegal.
