Does any one know how I might perches 1 class (or second class) train tickets to Chiang mai ? I had e-mailed them (I was told this is possible) 4 weeks ago to get tickets but no response. We’re traveling soon I hope on feb.22nd and return the 25th.One last thing is Chiang mai a good place to go with kid's??

If by them, you mean that you emailed the State Railway of Thailand, the SRT does not sell train tickets either online or by email. You need to go to a train station to purchase tickets, or alternatively deal with a travel agency that will procure train tickets for you.
