Transfer visa to new passport - same day?

Hi, 

 

I will need to transfer my visa (Non B with work permit) when I renew my passport. 

 

- Our company is under BOI, in this case - can I go to Chamchuri, instead of Cheang Wattana?

- I heard that I will need to transfer my visa immediately, the same day that I have new passport. If not, it's... illegal. Is it true???

 

And a side question, my work permit is expiring in March, so I'm trying to manage the timeline to go to the Chamchuri office to do 1. transfer visa to new pp 2. extend work permit/visa at the same time.... (if I'm lucky). So, my last question is 

 

- How early can I extend my Work Permit? a week before? a month before?
