Mossfinn
Posting a pic to a post. I used to use the Thomas Merton method on the sticky at the top of page, very simple. Now there is no " Add this attachment". I tried clicking on the image required, got it into browse and then clicked upload. There was just a circular icon flashing stating, " uploading file", but it never uploads. I have used the image before. What am I doing wrong? As ever please keep the answers simple. Thanks Good Luck Moss

Mossfinn
Moss3 step program Browse button then click to select your pic Upload button to upload to TV server "Manage current attachments" downarrow , click on your pic in the dropdown and it will slot it in in the message. Seems it's the last one your missing. HTH Nope, my friend, I couldn't get it to work, where is the " Manage current attachments" downarrow. I have looked but I cannot find? Good Luck Moss Edit Moss Once you click on "download" the "manage current attachments" and the down arrow disappears. I am afraid I am still in the dark. If I didn't personally know better, this post coupled with others requesting low level tecky help, I would suggest I lived under a bridge without the aid of the sun!! Although on occasion I have been required to spend a night in unfortunate circumstances, this is not one of them!! I would very much appreciate further help. the scouser
Hi Moss, As you already know, you select the file from your computer using the browse button and then click upload. Once uploaded you will see a box "Manage Current Attachments":- Click on the box, and you'll get a drop-down list of your attachments:- Click on the icon on the far left of the drop-down box (the picture of a page with a green cross on it) and the code for the image will then be displayed in your text editor:- When you hit add reply, the image will then display in the post. monty
Moss, if you're using older browser versions, they might cause that problem! I had the same with Firefox 1.5, but upgrading to 2.1 solved it...
Mossfinn
Hi Farangsay and Scouse, As previously stated after the browse and select options, then Upload, the " manage current attachments" box disappears. The 'Uploading File' and the circular icon continues to spin and spin. I can only assume that you are correct Monty and I will upgrade today, if indeed I am on 1.5, a project for today, this is going to be fun Thanks again for all your help.
