Bangkok Teacher Accused Of Sex With Boys Back In School

BANGKOK — A teacher accused by students of being a sexual predator is teaching again in Bangkok, a school official said Friday.

 

Two years after students at the elite, all-male Suankularb School accused Saroj Meepai of preying on children, the teacher was transferred to a school in western Bangkok earlier this week, according to Suan Kularb deputy rector Amnuay Chanhom.

Truly amazing. And disgraceful. You just know it is only a matter of time before another poor kid suffers unwelcome and perverted advances. People like this should NEVER be allowed to work with children ever again. Time Thailand woke up to these people and kept a register as other countries do.

Inappropriate??? It is inappropriate that this person is allowed anywhere near kids. I hope all the teachers, parents, and students boycott the school until he is removed

Why you mention "Thailand" alone...like it only happens here.

 What about the Catholic church and it's Bishops moving sex predators around the world like pieces on a game board. To this day the "Hierarchy" still refusing to co-operative with the authorities and investigators...of course that wouldn't fit the  "knocking Thailand" narative?

If it is true what this guy is accused of, the parents should wage a shaming campaign online, against this predator, and the school superintendent, or principal. It would not take much, to shame the new school into firing him. Not much at all.

Criminal defamation does not depend on the numbers of accused.

Something very wrong with the Thai system, the school administration are happy for him to be relocated to another school, the police are happy to let him be in charge of children with a history of molestation!!

Even if he did not commit the offences claimed, any teacher who goes on line to brag about abusing young boys is clearly unfit for purpose.

 

Parents should refuse to send his their children to his new school and demand this vile creature be banned from teaching for life.

It certainly does smack of the way the Catholic church deals with their paedophile priests.  Just move them on to fresh fields where they can carry on their form of "educating" the flock.  In Thailand though they take the same approach with corrupt police by just moving them out of the area to an "Inactive role" for a week or two.

 

Some would say the system is rotten to the core and I wouldn't argue with that.

Ancharee:  TRUER words have NEVER been spoken about Thailand.  YOU nailed it.  BUT, in all fairness, there are a few parents who actually care and GOD BLESS those few.
