December 2, 20187 yr If you have a bangkok bank acct and the new union pay (union pay is chinese) . This is accepted all through china and save you carrying too much cash. https://www.bangkokbank.com/en/Personal/Cards/Be1st-Smart-Card/Be1st-Smart-TPN-UnionPay-Card When I was there I just used my aussie debit card in the ATMs.
December 3, 20187 yr Author I have thought about using my atm there also but wanted to have cash in the pocket when I landed. I have to go to kassikorn today so will ask them Thanks good to know atm works Hopefully canadian bank cards work also
