Thai Meteorological Department Updates on Typhoon “Trami”
The Thai Meteorological Department has issued an update on Typhoon “Trami,” , known locally as Kristine, which is currently intensifying in the Western Pacific Ocean. As of 04:00 on October 22, the storm has strengthened from a tropical depression into a tropical storm and is expected to impact weather conditions in parts of Thailand’s northeastern region between October 26 and 27. “Trami,” named after a flower in the rose family, is the 20th storm to be tracked by the Tokyo-based Regional Specialised Meteorological Center (RSMC). The storm is currently moving westward and is forecast to pass over the island of Luzon in the Philippines on October 24-25 before moving into the northern South China Sea. It is expected to approach southern China, Hainan Island, and the coast of Vietnam. While Typhoon “Trami” is still far from Thailand, the Meteorological Department warns that its trajectory could bring strong winds to the eastern part of Thailand’s northeastern region due to a cold air mass pushing southwards in front of the storm. Travelers planning to visit the Philippines are advised to monitor weather conditions closely during this period. Further updates will be provided by the department, as the situation develops, and the public is encouraged to stay informed about possible changes in weather forecasts. "They" have installed fiber optic cables to every room/apartment in your condo ? probably not hence the need to pay for the installation, 300 meters might not be from entry point into the condo it may be from some server cabinet a few kilometers away (unlikely in a very built up area but possible) The most important point is to have the fiber optic cable and Modem/ONT installed directly to your room and not in the condo "server room" from which they most likely only have coax or "worse" twisted pair phone lines installed to every room. This is one of the problems at many condo buildings where the "management" company can be very difficult or stubborn on certain issues insisting that only their "authorised" contractors can carry out work in the building and is why I suggested looking at the cellular 5G option. Anyway enough waffle from me what do I know ? -
