I don't really agree. They are really trying to collect Thai ID numbers for all nations where you might need them. As said before, they want home country addresses. Of course many expats no longer have a home country address or at least one that is relevant to their current tax residency. The section you referenced: -

Bed Mattress
HomePro has a bed & bed selection/vendor, and probably where I'd start if looking for a new mattress. Medium price range ??? I would expect to pay ฿30k +/- for a new mattress, as that was the ballpark of last mattress we bought. Think that was about 15 yrs ago, if not longer, and still in fine shape. Worth every baht. -

Best Bread in Chiang Mai (3 Winners; 1 Loser; 1 Wild Card)
The UNIrish bakery next to and owned by UNIrish sports bar on Ratvithi Road (near Thapae Gate) does a very decent English crusty loaf. Both white and wholemeal. 50 baht for small and 80 baht (I think) for large. They will slice it for you if required. They have a fairly wide selection of other bread and rolls. Best to get there early though (opens at 9am) as they sell out quickly some days.
