Very easy! You can apply for a Non-O visa at Thai embassy in your home country. After that and arrived in Thailand no problem to get a Bank account. As a tourist no Bank account is needed! Having retirement extension is nowhere near a guarantee that opening a new bank account is an easy process or that it is "no problem" in the real world. -

Americans fed up with Trump
Sure - need to read what the questions were (wording), and how the sample was selected. The best source are the "meta polls" - though all the left/right polling companies have "unparty" biases, so even those have big holes in them. What information do you use to gauge public-opinion? Rallies can / are often astro-turfed. But, more importantly, most people can be FOOLED, whether they are "left" or "right." When enough are not being fooled (discontent with both parties), expect big fake "wedge issue" and hyped-up "events" to be utilized, to get them bleating for their assigned "side," again. -

BREAKING NEWS Seven Dead as Runaway Bus Slams into Trucks and Bursts into Flames
UPDATE Transport Ministry Orders Investigation Into Fatal Bus Crash in Prachinburi Pictures courtesy of Matichon. The Ministry of Transport has ordered an urgent investigation into a tragic bus accident that occurred in the early hours of April 21st near the Pu Thon Shrine on Highway 304, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries. Deputy Transport Minister Surapong Piyachote confirmed that the incident took place at 01:17 near kilometre marker 208+600, at the Kabin Buri–Wang Nam Khiao junction in Buphrahm Subdistrict, Na Di District, Prachinburi Province. A passenger bus caught fire after a collision with some trucks. “I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and my sincere hopes for a swift recovery to those injured,” Mr Surapong said. The Department of Land Transport (DLT) has been instructed to urgently investigate the exact cause of the crash and provide immediate assistance to the victims. Authorities are also coordinating with police investigators to follow up closely on the legal proceedings. The bus operator involved has been summoned to explain the circumstances surrounding the incident. Should any breaches of the Land Transport Act be uncovered, legal action will be taken accordingly. According to the DLT’s initial report, the bus was travelling from Nong Khai Province and collided with the truck at kilometre marker 210+500. The vehicle involved was a registered public transport bus, with tax validity through to 31 December 2025. The operator, 407 Pattana Co., Ltd., holds a transport licence valid until 20 July 2031. Deputy Minister Surapong has directed the DLT to deploy an accident investigation team to the scene and work in coordination with relevant agencies to provide aid and compensation to those affected without delay. Republican strategist Rick Wilson nailed it with his book “Everything Trump touches dies.” That includes truth, public trust—and, during COVID, quite possibly hundreds of thousands of American lives were needlessly lost. Trump dismantled the pandemic response team, shelved the playbook, botched PCR testing—and now wants to rewrite history to dodge the consequences. Trump’s pandemic strategy was political, not medical. He downplayed the virus, mocked the experts, pushed unproven cures, and turned public health into a culture war. The result? One of the worst death tolls in the developed world. Biden had the power and the numbers to launch a full Congressional inquiry into Trump’s COVID response—as Trump is doing now in reverse—but he chose not to, saying he didn’t want to divide the country further than Trump already had. Trump’s hell-bent on doing the opposite. Now Trump’s clinging to the lab leak narrative like a life raft—not because it’s proven, but because it helps him: Deflect from his own failures, Resurrect the debunked gain-of-function panic, and Cast Fauci as the villain in his MAGA redemption arc. Whether COVID came from a lab or a market is a legitimate scientific question—but politically, it’s relevant only to Trump, who needs it to whitewash his record and scapegoat Fauci. If rewriting history is the price for burying the scale of his pandemic failure, Trump’s ready—pen in one hand, Fauci’s head in the other.
