Taxi driver incinerated as cab flips and burns in Pathum Thani

A video showed the aftermath of an accident just before midnight last night when a taxi heading for Nakorn Nayok hit the central reservation, went onto its side and burst into flames.

Firemen took ten minutes to bring the blaze under control.

Inside and burnt to death was 46 year old Daenchai Jampakertsap who was on his way home to Onkharak district. There was no passenger.

Witnesses said that he had been at a restaurant at Klong 11 before the accident.

The accident occurred near a U-turn at Klong 12.

The sky blue cab belonged to "Thai S Leasing", reported Thai Rath.

The body was sent for autopsy and relatives have been informed.

Good thing is, he didn't injure/kill, anyone else, yes, I have little sympathy for anyone who drives unsafely, and kills themselves.

What? I'm guessing the cause of death might have been fire but I could be wrong. Maybe he had a heart attack first, or after not being able to keep on the road and crashing.

From the photo, the pathologist would be examining a pile of ash and bone remnants (long bones, skull etc.)

Pound to a pinch of sh*t that it was a CNG/LPG powered taxi. Never seen as many car fires in any other country where gases like these are used, but looking at the quality of the conversions I’m not surprised.

Me thinks brake failure?

It would be interesting to see if the police go back to the restaurant to dig out his bill and see what he had to drink !

Probably arguing with a passenger about the fare when he should have been driving before his car turned into a marshmallow. Either that or one too many Regency Soda's at the restaurant.

Body burnt to a crisp , do you really think the BiB care how much he had to drink , too much work for them , but your thoughts are spot on .
