Thai Immigration offices made mistakes now we are overstayers!!!

You may be right but that's not what the immigration lawyer told me. Not that I believe him 100% either...

 

Basically the Non-O is for 90 days and needs more or less the same paperwork as the Non-OA. According to them, I can do an "in-country" conversion to Non-OA. The Non-O will allow me to show 800K bahts for at least 2 months then apply for the conversion. They will have to come to my house and verify I actually live there with a Thai National - preferably the landlord - sign and guarantee I live there.
