The impact of tropical storm Pabuk was already being felt in Nakhon Si Thammarat’s Pak Panang district on Friday, with collapsed electrical poles, floods from sea water and heavy rains.

Thai Pbs television station’s Facebook published series of photos featuring the flooding and collapse of electrical poles in the district.

The station said the damage occurred on a road that links Muang district to Pak Panang.

In some areas, trees were uprooted by strong winds and heavy rains. Photos showed heavy rainfall in some villages in Pak Panang district.
