Yellow powder causes Pathum Thani pileup

Five cars, two pickup trucks and an ambulance lost control and crashed after they drove on a mysterious yellow powder dropped on a road in Pathum Thani's Sam Khok district on Wednesday morning.

The multiple accidents occurred on highway 347 in front of the Komet Temple in Tambon Chiang Rak Yai at 9:30am.

 

Only one car driver was injured and was treated at a hospital nearby.

The motorists said they lost control once their wheels hit the mysterious yellow powder. No one saw who dropped the powder.

 

Pathum Thani Highway Office cleaned up the road to prevent further accidents.

 

Police said investigations would continue.
